Bostik Marine Silicone 280ml

Bostik Clear Silicone Sealant is a clear, acetoxy-curing silicone sealant that does not contain a fungicide and can be used for heavy marine-duty work. It provides a permanent, flexible, durable, and watertight seal when building fish tanks and aquariums. It is also excellent for use as an adhesive where an elastic gap-filling bond is required.

Usage

Read all instructions carefully before use. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Cut the tip off the cartridge. Cut the nozzle at an angle to the desired bead size. Apply using a caulking gun and smooth with a wet finger or spatula afterward. Remove excess sealant with a damp cloth. Sealant dries to touch in 1 hour and reaches full cure after approximately 24 hours. Coverage: 11m for a 5mm x 5mm joint.

Warnings

Test product before using. Not suitable for some metals and alkaline surfaces such as concrete, fibrous cement, asbestos, plaster and marble.. Cannot be painted. Wearing gloves is recommended. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In the event of contamination, rinse thoroughly with cold water and seek medical attention if irritation or discomfort persists. Keep out of reach of children.
