Usage

Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of any dust, grease and loose materials. Directions for use: Use masking tape to get a clean, even sealant line and to eliminate cleaning difficulties on porous surfaces. Remove tape before sealant skins. Pierce film with reverse side of cap. Cut nozzle to desired bead size and screw onto tube. Squeeze the tube and apply at a slight angle. Remove unwanted silicone immediately. Smooth down after application (within 3-5 minutes) before skin formation occurs, by using a flat or rounded tool. Sealant dries to touch in 1 hour and reaches full cure after approx. 24 hours. After use: Replace nozzle with the cap. Uncured silicone can be removed from hands or tools using turpentine or paraffin. Fully cured, silicone can be removed by mechanical means, i.e. with a sharp knife or chemically, with Bostik silicone stripper. Coverage: Approx. 3.5 linear metres for a 5 mm x 5 mm joint.

Storage

Store in a cool (below 25°C), dry place in its original moisture-tight container.

Warnings

Not suitable for some metals and alkaline surfaces such as concrete, fibrous cement, asbestos, plaster and marble, as the product releases acetic acid during curing. Cannot be painted. Not suitable for fish tanks as it contains a fungicide. Wearing gloves is recommended. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In the event of contamination, rinse thoroughly with cold water and seek medical attention if irritation or discomfort persists. Keep out of reach of children. Test product on a sample area for suitability. As this product is used outside our control, we cannot accept liability for damages
